Action Team volunteers work with IOCC to help families and communities recover after disasters across the US. Join us for long-term recovery in Florida!

In September 2022, Hurricane Ian hit southwest Florida as one of the deadliest and costliest storms on record. It caused extensive storm surge and extreme flooding, destroying homes and communities. Though this was a statewide disaster, the Fort Myers area was heavily affected.

With funding from the National Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society, IOCC is now doing long-term recovery work to help residents in and around Fort Myers rebuild their homes and their lives.

These builds are open to groups *only.* Please organize a group of 5-15 people, and have each person complete registration on this page.
Come for a week (Monday through Saturday)
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. BUT youth ages 16 and 17 may participate on some worksites if accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or duly authorized group leader.
